Who is responsible

This policy covers the Android game Astro Sniper and herculislab.com. Alpha Herculis Lab is a brand operated by Michal Jancik Sommelier, Poland, NIP PL6781610480. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@herculislab.com.

Playing on your device

The game stores your callsign, settings, local high score and any manually saved mission on your device. When Google Play Games is available, a saved campaign may also store the Google Play Games player identifier to keep score submissions associated with the correct player. We do not operate a separate player-account service or a server for saved missions. The core single-player game works offline.

You can clear local game data using Android Settings. This removes local progress and settings. Android backup and restore may retain app data according to your device and Google account settings.

Google Play Games and high scores

Astro Sniper uses Google Play Games Services for sign-in and difficulty-specific leaderboards. Google may sign you in automatically according to your Play Games settings. The game reads your Play Games player identifier and submits eligible campaign scores after a completed sector or a manual save. Leaderboards are hosted by Google. Your gaming profile and scores may be visible to other players according to your Google Play Games privacy settings.

Google Play Games Services also processes gaming-profile information, SDK usage analytics and diagnostic information. Data is encrypted in transit. We do not request your contacts, precise location, camera or microphone, and the game does not contain advertising or a separate advertising/analytics SDK.

Google processes its services' data under the Google Privacy Policy. Manage sign-in and profile visibility in Google Play Games settings. You can delete Astro Sniper's Play Games data, or your entire Play Games profile, through those settings; see Google's instructions for deleting Play Games data. Clearing local app data does not by itself delete Google's leaderboard records.

Purchases

Purchases and payment information are handled by Google Play. The game does not collect or store your payment-card or bank-account details. Google provides the developer with sales and transaction information needed to administer the sale and meet accounting obligations.

Website and support

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting it involves processing technical request data, such as IP address, browser information and the requested page. We do not embed advertising trackers or behavioural analytics on this website. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

If you email us, we process your email address, the message and any information you choose to attach so we can answer your enquiry. Support email is handled through Google Workspace. Please do not send passwords or payment details.

Purposes, sharing and retention

We process information as necessary to provide the game and requested services, respond to support enquiries, protect our services and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, these are our contractual obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations; consent is used where required. We do not sell your personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Information is shared with service providers only as needed for the services described above, or where required by law. Google and Cloudflare may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area, under their applicable data-protection arrangements.

Local game data remains until you clear it or remove it through your device settings, subject to device backups. Google Play Games data remains subject to Google's retention and deletion controls. We keep support correspondence only for as long as necessary to resolve the enquiry and address related claims or legal obligations. Sales and accounting records are retained for the legally required period.

Your choices and rights

You can play the core game without using online rankings and control Google Play Games sign-in in Google's settings. For personal data we control, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing where applicable. Contact info@herculislab.com; we may need information to verify your request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority, including Poland's UODO. For data controlled by Google, use your Google account and Play Games privacy controls.

Updates

We will update this page when the game's data practices change and revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required.
